EDT 454. Methods of Literacy for Early Childhood. 3 Hours
The continued study of appropriate instruction and assessment supporting the literacy development of children grades P-3, with a focus on instruction supporting developing and transitional readers and writers. Major emphases are on the classroom application of the principles of comprehensive literacy instruction and assessment, including the writing process and comprehension strategies across the content areas.
Prerequisite(s): EDT 350, EDT 453.
