EDT 415. Working with Young Learners with Mild to Moderate Disabilities. 2-3 Hours
This course is the study of the role and function of the early childhood educator in working with learners with mild to moderate disabilities. The course presents issues of definition, identification and placement procedures. The candidate will acquire knowledge of major researchers and historians, variations in belief, traditions and values across cultures and current practices in the field. Field experience is integrated with the primary block.
Prerequisite(s): EDT 313, EDT 313L, EDT 453.
